Android plugin...

Hello Tom,

What is the state of the android plugin?

It was developed and is maintained by jetBrains, right?

I tried to get it to work on various versions of IDEA, nothing seems
to work. I install the plugin, restart and it just is not there... I
even installed an old #8890 that is mentioned on the plugin page but
alas, it does not work either.

Any news appreciated...

The version of the plugin currently on plugins.intellij.net is indeed broken
(it's not packaged correctly so it won't start under any IDEA version). We'll
upload a working version (with a number of new features) soon.
