Please bring back the old VCS Revert button icon

With build #8940 I had to stop and think before clicking it. It's waaaay too similar to a commit button, hard to distinguish now. Kinda dangerous...

I agree that the new icon is not a good choice. Having something other
than the old icon is a good idea, but the new one is not different
enough from the commit icon.

OK, we'll try to replace it with a more distinct icon. The old icon is the
same as "Undo", so we can't bring it back as is.

While you're at it, could you also remove the Skull icon (Kill process or something...). It's really a small issue, but I don't think it's appropriate to put skulls in an IDE. I mean, what's next: a gravestone when a process is finished? ;)

Is it a skull & crossbones? That's the classic symbol (at least in some cultures such as the U.S.) of a poisonous substance.

Anyway, if you're on Linux, type "CTRLALTEscape" and look at the cursor. Don't click anything you want to keep running while in this state. You can exit that mode with an Escape.

I'd say a skull and crossbones is apt (at least in some cultures) as a symbol of something deadly.

Well, it won't kill me I guess, and no, there are no crossbones (I'm not pirate!)

I've attached a screenshot of the icon. Scary eh?

Just a change of color would statisfy me. Make the arrow red for example. That will probably make the icon distinct enough to prevent confusion.

Yeah. I'd be terrified to press that button.

But that reminds me of something: In SuSE Linux distributions of a certain era (possibly not yet passed), there was an animated scene in an early stage boot screen showing penguins on an ice floe with snow falling around them. It would only be displayed in place of the ordinary screen something like one reboot in 20 or 30 or some such ratio. But during December it would be one three or five or something much more likely.

So anyway, maybe that icon is just a halloween season thing....

Of course, all this sort of symbolism is entirely culturally dependent, and I'm really just being silly (but the SuSE Linux thing is real, or was in some releases).
