Intellij not finding component-scan beans

Hi

I know this topic has been posted a few times before, but did not find a solution. I saw the defect http://youtrack.jetbrains.com/issue/IDEA-81913. The defect report says it is fixed, but I still see the problem. I am using 12.1.4.
I am developing a gails application. Intellij recognizes any beans defined as a grails service or any beans defined in resources.xml. But the component-scan beans are not found, so auto-complete does not work.

Is there a fix for this?
