7291 With Refactor-X And Existing Refactor-X Installations 关注

According to the 7291 summary release notes

Notes):

"The Refactor-X plugin from Sixth and Red River Software and the Web
services plugin are now bundled with IntelliJ IDEA."

What does this mean for those who are already using this plug-in?
Should we remove that one before switching to build 7291?

Yes, you'll need to remove the existing installation.

Is the license we purchased from Sixth & Red River still required?

No. The plugin is now free for all IntelliJ IDEA users. It has also been
released as open-source under the Apache 2 license.

No, your license for Refactor-X is no longer necessary, and you should remove the Refactor-X installation from your plugin directory before updating to 7291. We will be announcing within the next few days a program to allow those who have recently purchased Refactor-X licenses to exchange them for licenses to another Sixth and Red River product.

We are proud that Refactor-X has been selected for inclusion in IntelliJ IDEA, and hope that all our new users find it as pleasurable and powerfual as the rest of IDEA.

I've been eyeing Inspector General, so a discount on that would be nice, of course. (By the way, check out the short descriptions under each plug-in's name on your home page. The text under Inspector General is actually that for GuiceyIDEA.)

However, it's been 10 months since I bought Refactor-J and Refactor-X, so I don't know if that'll come under your definition of "recently."

I've been using Inspector General for some months now, and I'm quite impressed.
It's hard to compare the plugin to any existing feature or plugin. It feels
like a set of inspections, but operating or a wider scope than just statements.

For your Inspector General plugin, where do we file bugs? I know you got a Jira project for Refactor-J and Refactor-X, but I don't see anywhere to file bugs for Inspector General.

I've been asking the same question myself, but no responses so far...
unfortunately this means I'm not using it - unless there is a quick bug
fix turnaround I don't feel it's worth the time to check the results of
each invocation at the moment. Pity, because I'm really looking forward
to this being stable, and using all the time.
