Build 5745 locking up
If you open the 'Changes' tool window and right-click on the 'Unversioned Files' node in the tree, IDEA locks up and you have to kill it ( No exception is thrown ). Right-clicking on the other nodes brings up the normal context menu. I've done this several times to verify the behavior and make sure it wasn't an aberration.

How many unversioned files do you have? As far as I can see, it doesn't lock
up - it just takes a really long time to show the menu.

This works OK for me (with only 10 unversioned files, the context menu appears almost instantaneously)...
Mine has something like 1,900 files... That might be the reason but I've let it sit for over 5 minutes and the UI is totally unresponsive. To me that's locked up...
Mine in 1,023 files. It takes about 2 minutes to synchronize

This should be fixed in the next RC build. Thanks for reporting!

I'm having problems with 5745 locking up as I'm typing into a source file. Have cleared my caches, etc. but to no avail.
FYI, I've disabled local VCS, that seems to have made the hangs go away, for now at least.
I've turned local VCS back on in today's EAP build, and so far, so good.
