Would it be possible to sync IntelliJ settings with Dropbox?
I was thinking about synching my .IntelliJIdea90/config directory over multiple computers using DropBox.
Is there a way to make IntelliJ re-read the configuration files? Or would I have to restart IntelliJ to have it
read any modified config-files?
Are there any reasons why this would be a bad idea?

Hello Jörgen,
The IDEA Server plugin, installable from the plugin manager, is our official
solution for the problem of synchronizing configuration files between multiple
machines.
I guess you could try Dropbox as well, but we haven't tested that and don't
officially support that approach.

Before reading this about the server plugin on the page liked below I thought that I had to
install the server somewhere. I didn't realize that I would be synching to a central server.
