anybody else getting weird characters, class files that look corrupted but arent?

lately I've been opening up files only to see seemlingly random text chunks looking completely corrupted, for example:




the files themselves dont seem to actually corrupted, because if I open the same file in another editor, I dont see the weirdness.

am I the only one getting this?

what I do when it happens is flip back through the version control history, and revert the weirdly mangled chunks

but I"m getting tired of having to do this...

anybody? jetbrains?
