IDEA constantly accesses disk? (build 2222)

Just did the same as Michael and I see that IDEA is trying to repeatdly access the current file in the active Editor tab.

Is this a bug or expected behavior?

Yes I noticed this too. Even when IDEA is not the focused app.

IDEA 4.0.3 keeps accessing INSTALLATIONIDR/lib/xerces.jar and INSTALLATIONIDR/lib/propertiesFilename every several seconds.
