Idea: Transfer global libs from 8.1.4 to 9.0.1?

Hi,

8.1.4 fails to export global libraries, thus 9.0.1 has no means to import them.

Someone suggested a hack to transfer 8.1.4 global libs to a 9.0.1 installation but I can't find it.

Suggestions please?
