CVS Compare With Last Repository Version fails

Hi all,

I have a curious problem with Idea 8.x which I'm sure recently started. If I do CVS->Compare With Last Repository Version, it fails with

Error:cvs [checkout aborted]: no such tag NMyTagName

Note the extraneous N in front of the tag name.

It started happening some time after I did a CVS update using a particular tag.

The other commands work fine, for eg., CVS->Compare With Same Repository Version works fine. So does CVS->Compare With Specified Revision.


Any clues? Thanks in advance!
