CVS: modules with different branches get mixed up

Hi,
I have a project which has severl modules. Many of the modules are from branches with different names. For example:

moduleA : branch1
moduleB : branch2

Now I press Ctrl+T to update all the modules. After pressing ok the modules are mixed up because a branch name has been used to update which doesn't work in all the modules. e.g. "branch2" is shown in the "Update branch" box. This updates moduleA with branch2 as well, afair all files were removed in moduleA.

Should I report this as a bug?
Any way to work around this?
