Comparing current code against a Branch instead of HEAD

Is it possible to compare current code to a specific BRANCH in CVS instead of the HEAD.

I can see a way to do this for a single file - I do a 'ShowHistory' on the file and then compare it with the version I need. But I cant seem to find a way to do this for an entire directory.

There is no way to do this in IDEA now.
