How can I get my shortcuts toggle panels

Hey there,

I've been using bunch of shortcuts to show some useful panels such as "Test RESTful Web Service". It shows the panel whenever I press its shortcut key. But I would like the shortcut hide the panel in case it is visible at that moment. So I will be able to show/hide my panels easily and fast.

Is there an option to make this behavior?

Hi Enes,

Unfortunately, you cannot close a specific tool window by a shortcut.

However, what you can do is to hide an active tool window with Shift+Esc.

Isn't that what you're looking for?

Yes, Eugene. It looks Shift + Esc is what I've been looking for. Maybe I can manage with this.

Still it would be easier to hide the active tool window by triggering its shortcut second time.

Thanks for letting me know!

Use Alt + 1. It toggles the active tool window.

I found it out from this thread: https://www.jetbrains.com/help/idea/manipulating-the-tool-windows.html#show
