The "WebStorm 8  - Advance AngularUS Support" video (beginning around time 0:14) shows  a "Search Everywhere" dialog.

  1. How do I summon "Search Everywhere"?
  2. Is there a menu item so summon "Search Everywhere"?
  3. What is the documentation link for "Search Everywhere"?

How do I summon "Search Everywhere"?

Double-press Shift key.

You can assign custom shortcut in "Preferences | Keymap" (you are on a Mac, as I understand).

Is there a menu item so summon "Search Everywhere"?

No.

Possible reason -- it combines results from different areas (files/symbols/settings/etc) and therefore it does not fit into specific Main Menu category.

But if you need you can summon it (as any other action) via "Help | Find Action...". It is also placed on main/mini toolbar.
