string escape character field for file type syntax highlighting

Hi

(the replication web -> news doesnt work so I post it here too),

I lack an option for specifying escape characters in the file type edit
window. eg. I would like javascript to show this line right:

var hiddenField = "]]>";

I would like to be able to say escape " with \ for javascript files.

anyone else noticed this problem?
should I request it as feature or is there a workaround?
