Tools->Reformat Code (CodeStyle)

When I reformat my code using "Tools->Reformat Code",
does it use the CodeStyle settings at all ?
(Options->IDE Settings->CodeStyle->BlankLines) Because I
set the CodeStyle to get rid of blank lines, and the resulting formated code keeps the lines as they were before.
