I believe my original statement is correct. It's dead. Borland is trying to find someone to buy it. To quote the blog entry you provided:

"The buyer of our IDE product lines has not yet been identified, but I and other members of our developer team are working with Borland's executive management to ensure that we identify the right buyer who will advance the IDE business."

If nobody buys it, it will be dead permanently. Considering the competition in the IDE space right now, that's a very good possibility.

I've put my bid in!

I thought I would go in with a strong bid of 5 pence to give myself a good
chance. I'm willing to stretch to 10 pence but only if they throw in a couple
of lap dancers...
