Weblogic 9 support is already implemented in IDEA 6.0 branch. You can
expect to have it in the first EAP version.

It's not planned to put this functionality into 5.1

We will be starting Early Access Program for 6.0 as soon as we ship 5.1 so
you can take a part and use Weblogic 9 integration. That stuff is pretty
stable now.

5.1 will have several important fixes, which will allow you to remotely
debug JSPs. 6.0 will have full-featured Websphere plugin with
deployment/debugging support.
