Reproducible IDEA-crash on Linux and JDK 1.5

I encountered a nasty crash with IDEA 5.0.1 (#3461) and JDK 1.5.0_03
on Linux. It crashes reproduceably when clicking "Appearance" in the
Settings:

I'm not sure whether IDEA can be blamed for it, it sounds rather like
a swt/JDK-Problem, it also doesn't happen when I switch to JDK 1.4 - I
just thought I might interest you/you know some workaround. If you're
interested in the detailed report file, I'd be happy to supply it,
however not in a public newsgroup.

It's also recommended to use JDK 1.5.0_04.
