Inline diff editing gone?

PHPStorm PS-138-1289, OSX 10.9.4.

I could swear I used to be able to edit in the diff window when preparing a commit, and now I have to click "Edit source" and be brought out of the diff context. What happened to my per-line remove change buttons? Am I missing them?
