How do I change where IDEA stores projects?

I want to store my projects under "My Documents\IdeaProjects" however
IDEA insists on trying to create new Projects under "C:\Documents and
Settings\Matt\IdeaProjects".

I've tried in vain to find some way of changing this default setting,
surely it's possible?
