Using 3.0, how do I export Live Templates, that I have defined?
Templates in group Foo are stored in config/templates/Foo.xml. You can extract the actual templates from the XML file, or you can make sure all templates you want to export belong to a specific template group and then copy the entire XML file for that group.
Hmm... thats what i thought. But, I do not see any config or template directories under my 3.0 install directory. I did upgrade to 3.0 from 2.6 and see the config/templates directory under the 2.6 install directory. The custom Live templates that i had for 2.6 were automatically imported into the 3.0 during install.

The config and system directories in IDEA 3.0 have been moved to the .IntelliJIdea directory in your home directory. This is generally someplace like "C:\Documents and Settings\]]>\.IntelliJIdea" on Windows 2000/XP, or "$HOME/.IntelliJIdea" on Unix.
