Using EAP release more than 30 days
Hello everyone ;
I'm currently using PHPStorm 1.0.2 for an opensource project. I've a free license for this (for opensource sofware only). Now, I ask me if with this licence, I can use the EAP release more than 30 days and if yes, how to register my licence into it.
Thank for any feedback about this.
Note: Sorry for my poor English, I'm french.

Each EAP has 45-days trial license. Each new build has new license. You don't need buy any license to use EAP builds (at least nowadays). That's why you can use EAP builds for years without any problem. For example, I use EAP builds ~1.5 year.
Hello dear ;
Thanks you for your faster answer.
Just a little correction. EAP for PhpStprm and WebStorm has 30 days license, not a 45 days.
if you have license (no matter open source or commercial) it will work both for EAP and for stable releases.
for infinite time including 1 year free-upgrades
I have doubts about this statement, because: latest PhpStorm EAP build (PS-102.194) built on 19th of Jan 2011. Expiration date: March 5, 2011 (info is taken from Help | About screen)
P.S.
Maybe it is because I do have license for v1 as well -- and on systems that have EAP build only it will be 30 days only ... maybe ?:|
I dont think you can put a licence into an EAP build.
I have a "Personal Licence" for PhpStorm 1.0 but usually run the EAP builds. If i try to load up an old version, say PS-98.191 then before i get a chance to enter my licence or the program starts i get a popup with "This build of PhpStorm has expired. Please download a new build from http://confluence.jetbrains.net/display/WI/Web+IDE+EAP".
