Strange behavior deleting file, IDEA 16 EAP (144.3143.6)

This problem existed in the previous EAP as well (144.2925.2)

When I go to delete an old log file, the EAP decides that it wants to "clear read-only status" from a huge list of files (every file in project?).

I'm using CVS.
