top menu bar vanishes.
I have found (quite accidentally) a way to make the top menu bar disapear (as in pic). Is this normal, is there a way to revert and get the top menu again ?

did reboot always fix this issue for you?
I can't find root for this problem. Re-installation doesn't help as well as reboot.
So I'm a bit lost. Do you have any other tricks to restore the menu bar?
Here is quite another problem described; the permanent disappearance of the menu is caused by the latest OS X 10.9 preview.
