how to re-register application with another license

Hi, I was using PyCharm with a student's license (which ends in some days). Some weeks ago I bought a normal (Personal) license. Can I re-register my program with my new information, before the old one expires?

I re-registered. (my 1 year subscription is expiring soon). When I bought another licence they emailed me the licence key. When I enter the licence key the "ok" button was blanked out. I had to change my username from "Robert King" to "Robert King (X)" where X is my user number. Then the "ok" button became clickable and everything worked. It wasn't very clear to take these steps.
