Frequent lockups happening

I seem to be getting frequent lockups with the latest releases. I filed a bug here:

Although the trigger seems to vary the root cause seems to be communcation with native code. It _might_ be related to running in 64 bit mode. I'm currently running it in 32-bit mode to see if I can repro there (I've done the two tasks that locked up in 64-bit but can't say anything conclusive yet).
