Problems with python language parser

My parser has been going crazy the last week or so, displaying garbage errors such as finding unresolved references within strings and function arguments and other stupid stuff. My code is getting littered with errors in the editor when there are no actual errors with the code itself. Any idea what would be causing this? (it may have coincided with the last update but I can't be sure)
