there is an issue reported: http://youtrack.jetbrains.net/issue/OC-365. You can change it in projects setting in Xcode and I cannot see the reason when you need to change the deployment target from run to run. Could you please elaborate more on when and why do you need such an option in Run Configurations? Please leave the comment in the issue.
I didn't want to change the deployment target SDK on the Run/Debug configuration dialog. I just don't know where it can be set for the entire project (except in Xcode). Is this implemented yet?
This is actually a more generic question. What is the planned scope of AppCode?
It's obviously focused on editing and that's awesome. Is it also supposed to act as a mostly independant development environment from Xcode? i.e., AppCode can create projects, is it also intended to be able to configure those projects and the targets in them?

Project Settings editing is not yet implemented. Please check http://youtrack.jetbrains.net/issue/OC-835.
Cool. Good news that it is planned. Thanks.
