using intellij idea with book examples from pragmatic clojure and its own repl

Hi everybody...I'm a big fan for rubymine and I've been using this from about 2 years but now I want develop with clojure too...I'm try intellij idea demo but I'm a little problem...the book pragmatic programmer include codes but I only can run it using its own repl...if I try run he examples using intellij I get many error related to dependencies and java classpath...I'm newbie with java and I haven't solid knowledge with it..the boock say :                          "Once you have downloaded the sample code, you can test your install by navigating to the directory where you placed the sample code and running
a Clojure read-eval-print loop (REPL). The sample code includes REPL launch scripts that load Clojure, plus several other libraries that we will need later in the book.
On *nix/Mac the script is repl.sh:
cd /wherever/you/put/the/samples
bin/repl.sh   "I'm using linux"                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                             I've heard about maven, ant and many other tools, but I don't know it these can help me and I've never used these... please if someone can help me :(...I need a hand with it...thanks a lot
