Grails Settings Synchronization

Ever since 9.0.3 and all builds after I get sometimes problems with the Grails Settings Synchronization.

I have a Grails 1.1.1 / Maven 2.0.9 project with many plugins in it and sometimes (often enough) the Grails Settings Synchronization will run endlessly.

Is there a way to turn it off?

After we pick the SDK and the JDK, we get a pink popup at the bottom of the grails console "Settings Synchronization Failure". No Idea why.
