Subversion Show History shows nothing

I don't seem to see anything when I do a "Show History". It looks like its retrieving the history from the server and then .... does nothing.

The idea.log shows varying numbers of repeats of a line such as:
INFO - idea.repo.GitRepositoryManager - getRepositoryForFile returned non-Git (Subversion) root for file file:///Users/me/RubymineProjects/project/file.txt

I can compare with latest from respository, Sync, Update and Commit without problem

Any ideas?
