Compare two class diagrams

I tried to follow this tutorial

with no luck.
Is there a way to compare two class diagrams (to show the changes)? Every time I compare two diagrams they seem to be identical although they belong to different projects.
Please advice!

Do you use the version control history of the classes to get the difference in diagrams?
Thabks Serve for your response. Yes, I also tried comparing a local diagram with another older local copy. Moreover, I made two diagrams on the same project (at different stages) and I couldn't find it useful. I'm not sure what I'm missing here to be honest and I can't find other resources or tutorials online.
This feature works for the same file of two different versions (via version control changes or a history of a file), not for two different files or diagrams.
This is what I tried doing at the begining, but I beleive I didn't do it properly. Is there a detailed instructions for this

The detailed instructions are in the help article that you have linked. Please clarify the problem with the text diff of a file and with a screenshot of the diagram.
