Unfortunately the plugin manager doesn't work for me at the moment - so

Sweet :).

The animation could be however simpler and smoother :). E.g. Directly to the full size and only
some fade or flash of the border (not the text).

Unfortunately this plug-in is introducing a very ugly side effect in 5.1 :
In the HTML editor all the HTML entities have warnings with the message "xxxx not allowed here".

Removing the plug-in solves the problem, and reinstalling it shows the problem again.

Does it work in IDEA 6? Seems it only works in IDEA 5 'cause I found nothing special in IDEA 6.

I think the point exactly in distraction and unfriendlyness to make people eager to avoid this popups in future :) For example me at last learned how to invoke settings and update project using keyboard :)

Well, not quite :). "Positive motivation is better than negative" :).
The growing size disturbs the reading process.
IMHO a simple flash of the border would be enough to attract the attention in that direction of the
screen, and than if the text would be already big enough one would see it right away :).

I see that not all operations are covered:
- operations on the tool windows:
e.g. project window Ctrl+1 or mouse, opening
a file with double click, etc.
- File menus

It might be also covered in the "productivity guide", since
using the keyboard is more productive :). This way people would
know(and have statistics) e.g. on what operations they're not using
the keyboard although those operation are quite often.

Me too, since the plug-in for sure does not affect those areas of the IDE :).

I have just too many plug-ins installed to know where such an "instability" is triggered.

Can you try one more time.

From 3 installations it shows only one time and this effect can be seen only on 5.1.1 (on win2000).
On other combinations(IDE + OS) doesn't see to appear.

After removing your plug-in however, the effect always disappears.

Your plug-in is so useful that I was able to convert two "die hard" mouse users
to give shortcuts a try :). They're just too lazy to read and try the keymap PDF :).
Your plug-in however requires from the user less "energy" to learn the keymap :D.

P.S. I would even vote for it, but the IntelliJ plug-in web interface seems to be screwed again,
since it requires as CAPTCHA some Chinese numbers( or what's that unrecognizable drawing?).

I mean "nothing special" 'cause when I installed it, I saw nothing difference as before. And then I found it because I clicked some menu which has shortcut key.

I hate something doesn't tell me where to start ;)
