Precondition plug - installation instructions please

Hi,
Could someone please tell me how to install the preconditions plugin? I am new, so please be gentle. I copied the plugin jar and preconditions.xml file to the IDEA/plugins directory and restarted IDEA. Is there anything more I should do?
