DiffFile Plugin 1.7

I have installed the DiffFile.jar file in my
plugins directory but I cannot figure out how
to use the tool, or if it is even available.

I don't see any diff menu items and pressing
CTRL-ALT-D has no effect. Am I missing
something?

I'm using build 693.

Hmm. It sounds as though the plugin is not loaded. You should be able to
right-click in any opened file. The last (or close to last if you have
other plugins) menu option should be "Show differences..." and should
show the shorcut mapped on it "CtrlAltD".

Make sure the JAR is in your plugins directory and that you have
restarted IDEA since installing it.

I'm using build 693.

I'm still on 689. I'll upgrade today and see if I can reproduce the
problem.

Thanks for replying Mike. I'm not sure what I was doing wrong before. I tried restarting IDEA more than once and the JAR file was in the plugin directory. Anyway, I installed build 694 and copied the JAR file over again and now it works. Sorry for the fire drill.

No problem. I wasn't able to install 693, but I did verify this morning
that 694 works fine for me too. Let me know if you find anything else
wrong.
