How to get CVS properties ?

Hi,

I would like to extend the CVS integration (a first step would be to show a tree with all the branches for a given file).

What call in the open API should I use to get the CVS information for the current project (CVSROOT, for instance) ? Is it possible to work directly with the CVS component from Idea (probably not) ?
