Quick Javadoc GUI

I'd like to implement a plugin that uses a GUI similar to "Quick JavaDoc" -- i.e. looks like a multi-line tooltip, can display linkable text, etc. I know I could write it myself in Swing, but I thought maybe -- just maybe? -- there would be a way to reuse what's already there? Maybe? Please?
