Run application in Firefox in the same tab

Everytime I run my Flash application in Firefox it opens it in a new tab. It's not convenient cause it opens lots of tabs throughout multiple runs. If I use Safari it opens the application in the same tab everytime. Is it possible to reopen application in the same tab for Firefox?
