Facets to replace j2ee modules?

Our project is split into modules which each have ejb and web app components, and the ejb-jar.xml and application.xml config files are placed under a common subdirectory, so having non-conflicting content roots for the ear, ejb, and war modules is a problem.

It would at least clean things up a bit to turn ear modules into a facet, especially since there is little content for these modules.
