IDETalk - View Open Files - Open remote version
In the latest version of IDETalk I can see a list of the files that a remote user has open, open a local version of the file, and even compare my local version with the remote version, but I cannot open the remote version. Why not?
The functionality that you have implemented is quite useful and I really like it, but it seems to have an unnecessary limitation.
I often find myself trying to help out a colleague who is currently working on a file that has not yet been added to the repository, so I don't have a local copy. It would be extremely convenient if I could simply open up the remote version of the file and look at it.
Is this functionality planned for a future release?

These are somewhat similar, but I don't want to diff anything. I simply want to open up a read-only version of the remote user's version of the file in the source editor and look at it. The ability to save a copy of it on my local hard drive might be useful as well.
Should I create a new JIRA issue for this?
