Android app not running in AVD

hi all!

  I created an android application with default 'hello wolrd' configurations in version 10.5 (latest). The platform was 2.2 . I made the project and tried to run. The AVD loaded but I see My application is in the 'waiting for device' state. Why is it frozen there? I can access the avd after loaded well. But the application seems not installed in it!
