IDEA Server and plugin settings sync question
Hello,
I have IntelliJ IDEA 10.0.3 on a Windows 7 box and 10.0.3 on a Snow Leopard MacBook Pro. I use IDEA Server on each machine. I also use JRebel and in particular the JRebel IntelliJ IDEA plugin.
My trouble is that the JRebel plugin location is overwritten with each sync.
Mac: /Applications/ZeroTurnAround/JRebel/jrebel.jar
Win7: C:\Program Files\ZeroTurnaround\JRebel\jrebel.jar
Can I disable sync for an individual plugin?
Can I use system variables to somehow circumvent the issue?
Can I use relative paths and install jrebel.jar in an appropriate place relative to the IntelliJ IDEA installation?
Thanks for your advice,
James

Hello James,
This can be solved by the developers of the JRebel plugin: there is an API
that allows to disable the synchronization of certain settings. There is
no way for a user to control which settings are synchronized.
