Project grouping question

Greetings,

Warning, new user here.

I am looking for the best way to group/filter modules in a project.  Previously when working in Eclipse, I could close projects which weren't direct dependencies of the main project I was working in.  It seems intellij doesn't directly let you close modules, you would have to delete them.  I attempted to make a module group, which was successful, but I cant seem to find the spot to open just the module group.

What is the recommended way in intellij to mirror the close project ability of Eclipse?
