Import into CVS: How can I create target dir?

I want to import a new project into a certain place in my cvs repository.

If I want to place it into a new directory which does not yet exist in the repository - how can I create it?

I've looked into the "import into CVS" and into "Browse CVS repository" dialogs but have not found a way to do it.
I'm using 8.1.3.
