Proper place for bug/enhancement requests in JIRA?

Hi folks, I had submitted a bug report and an enhancement reqeust to the JIRA site but haven't seen or heard anything about them. I realize that the team probably gets a ton of these, so if the answer is "we just haven't gotten to it yet", that's fine. But I wanted to make sure that I had actually put them in the right place.
