996 - Flicker...

when I editing a JSP it does it nonstop on each
- carriage return
- mouse click on any existing line of code beyond its end

In Java classes, I also see a flickering on the right side.
In fact, I have a dual monitor setup, and it happens on the second screen.
Especially, I happens in the part of the editor which is beyond my screen
width (1024 pixels).
But I also had other issues with dual displays, on the second (right-hand)
display, sometimes the scrollbar disappears, or the right part of the editor
doesn't refresh.

"kind of " a workaround:
put a really long comment at the top of the document (the line should be wider than the window).

A better workaround is appreciated since the flicker is definetely awful.
