O/T: Posting to forums via NNTP/Thunderbird
Been ages since I've set up Thunderbird to use the forums here and I keep getting told 'a problem occured' when sending messages (thank you Thunderbird for more details). I suspected I needed to authenticate somewhere but I can't for the life of me find an username settings in Thunderbird (3.x nightlies).
It also tells me the SSL cert given is invalid :(

I'm always posting via Thunderbird, never had any problems with it (in
fact this message is posted by Thunderbird...). And no, there is no
authentication needed. I'm not using SSL either, just plain NNTP and SMTP.

Thats what I thought - I just tried from Thunderbird on my mac and got the same issue - I guess Shredder (the Thunderbird 3 nightlies) are borked :(
Time to go file some bugs.
