IDEA New UI: ALT+ALT no longer work, it supposed to show/hide Tool Windows Bar in the old UI
I used ALT+ALT to show/hide Tool WIndows Bar in previous UI, but it no longer works.
the alternative was setting up another shortcut for this, but I really love the ALT+ALT shortcut, is there a way to have it back?

Thank you for your question. I've checked the older versions of our IDE and failed to find the same shortcut (Alt+Alt) anywhere as the default shortcut. Have you set it up manually, or perhaps used some plugin to extend the default functionality? Also, when you say Alt+Alt, do you mean consequent keystrokes, or two alts being pressed simultaneously?

about setting it up manually, no, I'm not. It was built-in.
let me share the the recoding on Old UI, and how I did that.
so the ALT + ALT was kind of being pressed like this.
1. press ALT once
2. then press ALT again, but this time hold it
