IntelliJ IDEA build 944
Hi,
I'm trying to install IDEA build 944 on my Mac. I have OS X 10.2.8 (the good one) and the latest JDK (1.4.1_01) from Apple. After installing IDEA and entering the temporary license key, nothing happens, and in the console I get this message:
Any ideas? I've used your software on Windows for quite some time, and I'd like to make it work on OS X. Thanks...

Just copy idea.license to IDEA/bin folder

Unfortunately, the idea.license file doesn't seem to get created with build 944. I had to generate it with a previous EAP version.
If you have a Windows box with IDEA on it, you can use the same file. Thats what I did...

Have a previous IDEA installation somewhere?
It could be IDEA 3.x also

I just suffered from the same problem on Windows. As I had no previous EAP version I could copy a license file from, I did an educated guess after some trial and error and noticed that you need a simple text file were the first line is the license key as shown on the EAP download page and the second line is the user name.
Good call, worked for me, thanks for the help
